A steel and Oak stair set – We sourced the Oak from a friends estate in Hampshire from which we cut square slabs for the customer to shape, fit and finish.
The single steel spine was custom made and the results are outstanding.

We were asked to supply and fit a bar top in a nearby coffee shop to match the rustic style already used in the shop.
The final photo shows the old bar / shelf that we replaced.
This piece of wood is a section of Pine – felled from Shaftesbury School – that we burnt and sanded to create the effect shown in the photos.

This was a personal project – a new table for the house we recently moved to.
We fabricated the legs from scratch, installed some brass bowties to stabilize the bigger cracks and left the worm holes and other send splits for character. We used a Danish oil finish with a coat of Beeswax to protect and give it that lovely sheen.

The local pub was in dire need of a bar top replacement having had the same Formica surface for over 20yrs.
We supplied and installed a beautiful Yew surface which is far more fitting for a pub full of old rural tools and character.
We finished the surface with a hard wearing varnish to protect it from spillages and dings.
Being our local, we insured it was stable and at the perfect height to lean on of course.

This Oak table was a small project using a slab that will milled in the 80’s and abandoned in the woodland.
We managed to salvage it and used a high gloss varnish to bring out the definition within the grain and protect it from spills.
The simple yet classic hairpin legs really set it off.

A good friend of ours took on Worthing Watersports which was in dire need of updating.
We cut some Western Red Cedar boards, dried, planed and installed. We used a clear coat weather protection to help limit UV damage and protect it from the sea spray
Go check them out and take a look at the shop front yourself

A simple Oak post that was cut from some old Oak that was sawn for a customer years ago.
The post was to be a keypad support for the estate entrance, accompanied by a smaller oak post to stop long vehicles reversing into it.
The cables for the keypad were hidden within a routed channel, then covered with a bead of the same material.

We made this Oak table from some Oak slabs that had been cut by someone else over 5 years ago and had been drying on the customer’s farm since.
The boards were full of character, open knots, great colouring and interesting grain patterns so it was a pleasure to create this custom farmhouse table for them.

This was a great project, making 11 round tables from some windblown Ash for a local events venue.
They are fitted with foldable legs which make them functional but that doesn’t stop them from being a beautiful table, especially when dressed for an event. The photos speak for themselves.

This was a project for a good friend who was renovating his old cottage in Portland.
He said he wanted some characterful wood so we used some Oak from a standing dead tree in Corfe mullen, meaning this wood has never left Dorset.
It has some beautiful brown Oak feature along the live edge and a statement square edge next to the sink, all complimenting the exposed brickwork.
