We are an experienced mobile sawmill, covering the whole of the South of England but also venturing further north as and when needed!
With over 6 years of experience and a lot of positive feedback, we have pride in our ability to be able to take on any mobile milling jobs and provide a professional service that allows you to use your own timber on your own land or for projects within your house.
The bandsaw mill is quick and efficient and can handle logs up to 1250mm in diameter and 8 meters in length which covers most milling applications, including a lot of oversize timbers too.
Hydraulic log handling, computer controlled thickness system, road towable, self contained power unit are some of the features that make it fast, accurate and efficient.
We can cut to your requirements and offer professional advice if you are unsure what would be suitable to cut from a log you have. We aim to utilise the timber in the best way possible creating as little waste as possible, even the sawdust is good for composting!
The sawmill arrives behind a pick up truck, but its 2.5m wide and 7m long so sites with smaller access will need discussion first.
Please note that our standard cut length is 6.5m. The additional section to make it up to 8m is by request only, as are the hydraulic log loaders.
The chainsaw mill can cut up to 1800mm in diameter and the guides allow a 5.5m cutting length but we can cut longer lengths if needed! We do have the option to make this a 2600mm wide cut, however this is very specialist and will be available on request only. This way of milling can be great if the log is in a tricky spot, too heavy to move as one or its simply too wide for a bandsaw, meaning you get the full width of the boards without losing any of the live edge character.
It’s difficult to give an accurate price for mobile milling jobs as every site is different.
